DIRECTOR / WRITER

Josh is an award winning filmmaker whose distinct style was developed from a love for story. Raised in the suburbs of Chicago, movies became his way of understanding the world around him. He started making them for himself when he stole the family DV camera and eventually migrated to LA where he began working in development with Academy Award winning producer Edward Saxon (Philadelphia, Silence of the Lambs, Adaptation).

His early commercial career was launched when he sold a series of spec commercials to pay his college tuition. He quickly progressed into a creative director at a boutique agency, combining a bold cinematic lens with brand ethos. Recently, his multi-layered storytelling created waves with Cadillac's Oscar's Campaign starring Regina King, won awards for launching SilverCar by Audi's first fleet and a moving 'Love Letter' campaign for Birchbox.

Josh's recent narrative work includes a dramedy called "Hi, My Name is Scott" which debuted on ESPN and is based on the true story of an alcoholic whose life was saved by fantasy football; and “Shadows of Greatness,” a film on pro boxer Sena Agbeko. He recently co-penned the script for what will be his feature directorial debut titled “My Youth With Birdie." He's traveled the world, built houses, learned to ski, enjoys spontaneous vacations, a good book and time with his wife and young children.
